I don't understand why the people of New Chicago never revolted against the canteen-shaped computers that ruled them. Were people really content being ruled by machines? Did the machines treat them right? Maybe it was Dr. Theopolis who forced Wilma to wear vinyl and Dr. Huer to wear a skirt. If Twiki were in charge, how do you think he would've dressed Wilma? Could the machines that ruled the city be bribed or influence? Could, for example, someone get favors by offering one of the ruling machines a new motherboard? Click here to post a message        rand posts on 1/18/2006 2:34:57 AM well, my life is pretty much run by a computer right now. i spend more to keep it running than i do to feed myself. this is the way i see it. when you're a kid, your parents and teachers tell you what to do. and then, once you're out in the world, your boss and girlfriend, or wife tells you what to do. so why not a talking canteen? take care.
