Cast of Characters
Buck Rogers--astronaut frozen from the 20th century, wakes up 500 years later after the nuclear war has ravanged the Earth and most of Earth is populated by groaning mutants. A few survivors have gentrified the suburbs of Chicago and created New Chicago, and Buck joins them. The people of the 25th century find Buck a puzzle, mainly because he has a sense of humor, something lacking in most science fiction series.
Wilma Deering--a colonel in Earth's starfighter squadrons and Buck's unofficial girlfriend. The series never lasted long enough for anything to happen between the two of them, so she was reduced to casting jealous glances in Buck's direction when he cavorted with any of the guest starring women.
Dr. Theopolis--a canteen sized computer brain that runs the city.
Dr. Huer--The guy in charge, as much as anyone can be in charge. Basically, he's Dr. Theopolis's yes-man.
Twiki--Buck's manservant drone and foil for his humor. Twiki does everything Buck does, even fly a starfighter and date other women.

i agree, erin is wilma. but you know hollywood. if you're over thirty, especially if you're a woman, they don't want you.

Well, if there is a remake, I couldn't think of anyone else other than erin playing wilma (no one else in the world is THAT sexy!).

erin gray was sexy, but she couldn't hold a candle to pamela hensley.
as for a reimagining of the show, i only hope they don't ruin it like they did galactica.

There is a treatment on Ebay for a remake or "re-imaginiation".

Well, what can I say about this show that hasn't already been said. If you loved it, liked or lothed it it did show promise until the 2nd season came around. I mainly watched the show bacause it was fun in it's own way. Truth be told, I just really liked seeing Col.Wilma Dearing in those sexy, silvery body suits (man is she hot!), she looked great in red and the cool looking starfighters they used to fend off the bad guys with. The show had promise but Buck's worst enemy of all, in the end, was really bad writers.
