I finished the Black Magician Trilogy few days ago. It is one of the best books that I have read. I still can remember the day when i stepped into the bookshop, and these books caught my atenttion. It's white background and the unusual simplicity is the reason that I stated reading the Black Magician Trilogy. Once stated reading it, I just couldn't put it down, and now I'm quite sad that I've finished reading it. Eventhough Sonea is still alive, but the ending is just so cruel.

There is a new series if anyone wants to know. It starts with Priestess of the white.

I read these books a while ago, and have read countless books since, yet still I can remember these books clearly, no matter how many other books I've read. These are not my favourite books, I regretfully say, but they are in my top 15 of all time.

I've just finished reading your Balck Magician Trilogy. It was recommended by a friend and if I'm honest I didn't like the sound of it. I have now completed the last book and have change my opinion. It was absolutely brilliant! I am at a loss now I've finished it. It is a long time since I've been totally engrossed in a book and felt I was there with the characters. My only criticism is killing off Akkarin. I cried and didn't want the book to end in that way. I understand why you did it, but I would have preferred him to have survived and more books to have continued. It would make a fantastic film (one to equal Lord Of The Rings.) Long may you continue to have success and well done!

Hi Trudi my name is James (21), and i live in the UK. I have just finished reading your Black Magician Trilogy, and i have to say i just didn't want it to end. It is by far the best series of books i have ever read. To be honest im a little sad that it has ended. I am just writing to you to say thankyou for writing something so brilliant, and i would also like to know if you plan to write any more in the series, because i would definatly continue to read them. There was just so many things i was thinking you could write about. Sonea's child could have great magical powers. The Sachakan king could use his magicians and the power he has to try and invade. Maybe another country could try and invade. A rogue magician learns black magic. Im sure you could write more books on it. Its an absolutly amazing story Trudi. I'd be honoured if you replied. thankyou for your time, James.
