Okay, the book feed was straight up BORING. I had never read a bigger load of jkhfgiudh before. I suggest this dude stops using "made up" words, and creates more of a story line. If he had done those two things, i beleive people would have enjoyed his book more. (oh and i only read it because of a English Science Fiction Book Assesment) we had to do. So I did not choose this upon my choice. I <3 BRANDON!

I find it very ironic that kids, probably my age (13-15) are asking for themes and summaries about Feed for school assignments. If someone were to write a summary for you, wouldn't it be just like having the feed tell you? Which is exactly what one of the main themes of the book is? That people, especially kids and teens, can no longer think for themselves? If you really need it spelled out for you, a theme is that even though you could have infinite knowledge through the feed, you aren't even any more intelligent than when you were born, if you rely on the feed, and that's exactly what the media is doing to you already. And all the made up words are to show how the English language had been degraded into nonsense. 300 years ago, people didn't use phrases and words like "man", or "peace out", "freaky", or even "cool".

This book written by M.T. Anderson is horrid and you sit there wondering what these words mean but most of them are made up. the word null does mean something it means without value. If you read this statement heads up don't read FEED pick a different book for your assignment or just to read for fun. Do yourself a big favor don't read this book keep far far away from it!

I read this book for Teen Tech Week at the public library- maybe win an iTunes card. The idea of everyone being on this feed, in their head, all the time, was freaky. Titus was such a jerk to dump Violet because he couldn't handle her being different and then shutting down. Everyone getting lesions put on their bodies for fashion was weird. Driving an upcar would be cool.

We would like to invite Mr. Anderson to speak to our school about Feed.
Thank you.

I liked the book, Violet was kinda of wierd, but it was still sad when she died at the end. Now I'm just really confused about all the random characters like Marty, Link and all those people.

I feel his books are creative and fun. Apparently his books are homosexual. I never even knew a book or story could biologically reproduce!

I finished Thirsty. It was the best book I've ever read. Better than Harry Potter books, or anything else. The ending is drving me insane though. Has there been ANY hints to a sequel, or anything? I don't even care if the ending is happy, I just need an ending. My puny brain can't handle no ending.

The Game of Sunken Places! that's the first MT Anderson i read. I've only read that and Feed, though. Game of Sunken Places is a very good book; takes place in present day vermont or something. two boys find a board game which is like a map of the place they're staying, and rather than play on the board they have to go outside and walk around, solving puzzles and whatnot. if you've ever played the game for computer Myst it's similar to that.
