Dear Mary Downing Hahn, Mrs. Hahn, you are my number one author (your even higher than C.S. Lewis!) I love your books. I have read: Wait Till Helen Comes, Dead Man In Indian Creek,Deep And Dark And Dangerous,All the Lovely Bad Ones, and I am in the middle of The Time of The Witch. My friend Katie and I, write our own books and we thought you could maybe send a SHORT story to put in our new book:"The Wonderful Wonders of Winter."(of course the books we make are notebook paper stapled together) So, if you have time, email it to this address!!! Your Loving Friend, Carolina Butler age: 9 grade: 4

Mary downing Hahn you are the best author in the world, you are my favorite for sure!!!The first book I read by you was the best, I read deep and dark and dangorous. It had alot of suspense cause you never know if Missy is going to drown them.It would be so cool if you made one like that but with more suspense and actoin.

Dear Mary, I love ghost stories, and I also think you should make another ghost story with Ali in it. Like a sequel to it. One about her going to camp with her dad or something like that. Don’t say that I like your books the best of all the other authors though. That’s why you should make a new book! Thanks, Calen (Dodge School)

Hey, my name is Molly and i am in love with your books soooooo much!! I don't read much but when I read Deep and Dark and Dangerous i fell in love with reading.(But only your books) Now I have read Deep and Dark and Dangerous, Wait Till Helen Comes, The Doll in the Garden, and The Old Willis Place. I hope to read more but my school library doesn't have very many. I am very excited to read your new book. Your scary stories are so suspensful and good. Other writers scary stories are boring. Scary stories and mysteries are my favorite books. You inspire me so much!!!!!
