Best Episode: Guardians of Piri
Two Eagle pilots go missing and Koenig, investigating, finds them grinning and mindless on the planet of the giant mushrooms. Things only go downhill from there as a blonde appears and tries to take over Koenig's mind. He resists, but Alan isn't so strong-willed, and Koenig is forced to beat him unconscious. But when he gets back to Alpha, the blonde babe has taken over every one's mind, and everyone wants to move to the planet of the giant mushrooms.
Koenig tries to beat up Paul, but his heart clearly isn't with it, and he's quickly sedated while the others leave. When he wakes up, he returns to the planet of the giant mushrooms to find everyone in their silver pajamas tanning themselves. He gives Helena electroshock treatment and then snaps everyone out of it by zapping the blonde with his stunner. She turned out to be a robot, as the best ones usually are.
This was a funny episode; it was amusing to watch the crew acting dopey while Koenig was trying to rile them up. The only problem I had was believing that Koenig could topple the power of that entire society simply by zapping the robot with his stunner. But I guess they had to end the episode in a hurry....
