You know, I am starting to read your book "Midnight" and it's really scary! This is the first book I've read so far in your works and I am really looking forward to read all of your books. I borrowed the book from my school library!

Can any fans of the Odd Thomas series recommend something similar with that touch of quirky humor?
Thanks, Elizabeth

My wife and I have been collecting Dean Koontz's writings since Whispers came out in 1980. We are retiring and moving to Costa Rica and find it impossible to ship the books. We will be selling them on eBay over the next year as we havee time. We have everything he has written with the exception of the Reflector Literary Magazine. Most are signed 1st editions in fine, unread condition. This will include everything written since 1968, sci-fi digests and all. If you are a serious collector, keep an eye out. UserID is waggoner41.

Hi.Crystal, Welcome to the board. If you have not gotten around to a book called Watchers please do so soon. If you like dogs you will love this book. Even if you saw the movies (which were very bad) you will like this book.

I'm only 12 and really love these books. How I started reading them is my best friend found it in a library and she thought it looked interesting so she read it and said that I should read it. So I did. And I just loved it even though it had bad words and blood and gore. So I'm on my 2nd book!! I can't wait to read all of them!

Molly's troubled memories deal with her being the subject of emotional and sometimes physical abuse dealt primarily by the hands of her unfit mother and her mother's dangerous boyfriend.

Patrick--
They are in this order--
Fear Nothing, Seize the Night. He has been working for awhile on another Snow sequel--named Ride the Storm.(info. from an interview in '04 posted at Random Publishing) He says that it's taking awhile to finish that one. He is writing others at the same time. Can't wait for Ride the Storm!

One of the big reasons I read Dean is his love of dogs. I stopped reading an author because he seems to take pleasure in hurting animals. Do you know there is a Trixie (thats Deans four legged partner) has a website? Go on his homw page and you will find it.

Once again, I was enchanted with a Dean Koontz book. He is a dog man for sure.Virgil the German Shepherd Dog is a Hero in the true sense of the word. For those of us who are owned by German Shepherds, Dean Koontz's description of Virgil' trust, strength, and honesty really hits home.I can believe they could save us all.

I enjoyed this book by Mr. Knootz, as usual he keeps you wanting to read until you fall out from exhaustion, never wanting to put the book down until you've read the whole thing...

On this site I have berated DK for what I felt was a lack of effort on his part for churning out drivel like The Taking which had a very poor storyline and even weaker characters. However I certainly can not say this about ‘Life Expectancy'.
What a brilliant and clever storyline and for me DK, in Jimmy Tock, has found a new Christopher Snow, who was never that believable anyway. He reintroduces genuine humour back into his work, which I don't think has been there since ‘One Door Away From Heaven'.
Mr Koontz, Please keep this effort up and perhaps think about another story with Jimmy in it, that would be great!
