Who could possibly love Maya?
Tony Verdeshi was obviously in love with Maya. But who could really be in love with a beast-changing woman? I mean, you'd hug Maya one minute, and the next she could be some screeching slime monster.
And even Maya's natural form she was hardly a looker; she had these beaded eyebrows, and orange wolfman sideburns that were hardly attractive; Maya looked much better as a blonde robot in "Guardians of Piri".
Do you think Moonbase Alpha's Tony Verdeshi was so hard up for women that he forced himself to "settle" for Maya on Space 1999? Admittedly, there weren't many other options, except perhaps for Sondra, who might've been a bit too butch for Tony Verdeshi's tastes.

Y'all missed the point of Maya. She could morph into a supermodel or celebrity you can dream of. Imagine Maya turning that into cash for favors. I'll bet she's a galactic trillionaire now. If you miss treated her she would turn into a dude at the worst time. Ahhhhhh-Nooooo!

i had the biggest crush on her. as a matter of fact, she was the first woman i ever saw that i imagined doing..."things" to.
one question though, when she morphed into something else, what happened to her clothes?

I agree she is very hot. You see her in other films like On Her majesties Secret Service, and in episodes of The Sweeney & The Persuaders, and she attractive, but hasnt got that certian something extra that Maya has. I believe she runs a Bed & Breakfast in Germany now
