What set off metal detectors, Steve Austin's bionics, or all his zippers
The bionic Steve Austin sometime wore some really, really weird clothing. I mean, the bell bottoms I understand (it was the 1970's), but the shirts & vests with all those zippers were ridiculous. What did Steve keep in all of them? His keys, or important OSI documentation? Maybe some spare parts, like an extra finger or two for his arms?
Even if functional, they looked silly; the bionic Steve Austin should have worn less conspicuous clothing, but as the Six Million Dollar Man's role evolved from taking on spy missions to taking care of Flip Wilson, so did his clothing.
