It's a common mistake and all the sadder for it, that the last book of the New Testament is so often in print, on television and in film, referred to as The Book of Revelations.
It is not plural. There was ONE and only ONE revelation. It is The Book of Revelation. And for Wheeler to put the mistake in the mouth of an archbishop is heresy.
It is fortunate perhaps that Christians are not as protective of their sacred writing as are Muslims, or there would be a lot more "fatwas" flying around. (chapter 20, page 127, speech by (character) Archbishiop Hayes.)
