I'd like to see an "Everybody's Best Guess" competition on this subject.
The three books chosen at the end of the movie are:
1) The complete works of Shakespeare.
2) The Bible. (Though that would never be my choice).
3) The writings of the ancient philosophers. Whatever that may be!
These three books would achieve nothing & would repeat again what man did previously. Advancement through war, leading to ultimate self destruction.

Strangely enjoyable. I've never read the book. A rare film.
