It is a "Do" rag and it is usually from the standard military cravat. It is comfortable, keeps your hair and sweat from your eyes, and keeps the sun off your head. If you have longer hair, it also "fits" bets than many hats.

That, my civilian psychos, is a military head-wrap. Seen used in the desert mostly...
But then again, maybe it's all about the flapjacks.

I agree. He looks good in it. And there is so much more to the show. Like the action and plot.
