In Starship Troopers the movie, Johnny Rico pines after Car-Man (Denise Richards), but ends up doing it with Dizzy Flores (Dina Meyer). How much did he have to drop his standards to do this? Granted, Dizzy had the IQ of a houseplant, but she had a great body, and her face could be fixed with some minor operations. What do you think? If you'll recall,(although they didn't elaborate) Carmen did tell Rico that he father wasn't home the night of the dance. I think it's safe to assume he got his business done. I think they're both cute...and considering what most average men go home to every night, hardly a complaint.        Battlescar Galactica posts on 2/27/2006 9:02:29 PM Actually Dizzy and her houseplant IQ were right in line with Ricos; did you see his math test score? Ricos real name was Casper; you have to be tough to go thru life with a first name like that. But I digress, it was Carmen that lowered her standards for even considering doing it with Ricco. It was a joy to see the guy who was trying to score with Carmen get his brains succkedd out - he was annoying to the Nth degree. Dizzy took a couple of bug legs thru the torso for Rico. Dizzy was hard core. The really irritating thing was watching Doogie Howser giving orders. Rico should have just slugged him. And if Doogie (I know thats not his characters name but I just cant help it) was so smart how come he didnt have them build robot soldiers and tanks to defeat the bugs. They gave Michael Ironside a bionic arm. Surely they could build robots with guns. What about bombarding the planets with bunker buster nukes? By the way, if the U.S. military is falling short of meeting its quota for new recruits, they should try the Federation's idea of having men and women taking showers together.
