Really cant everyone see it? Notice how he always gave Trip that "look" and kept looking at his butt.

Enterprise was just coming into it's own but it wasn't a 'baby' in television years. It was middle aged if you consider X-Files and Jag, about the same age as Smallville. It just had Arrested Development.

I am a bigger fan of TOS, TNG and Voyager than I am Ds9 or Voyager. Don't get me wrong, I liked them all but, the first three are my favorites. Networks have been and still will be playing mind games. The only thing that they care about is ratings-not what the fans of a certain show think.
I agree with Nigel, nothing is certain in this life but taxes and death. I would love to have "Enterprise" re-newed but, I can't get my hopes up. We've got to face the fact that it probably won't be re-newed and then possibly be delighted if "Enterprise" is re-newed.

Nuthin' is certain. They were "certain" that this piece of flotsam would fly. Guess they were wrong. Face it, there was plenty of sci fi before Trek and there will be after Trek. Trek is not th totality of sci fi. Maybe you could get John DeLancie to give up his stage career to star in the "Adventures of Q" Ah, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, HAAAAAAA....naw, not really!

I'm cautiously optimistic that "Enterprise" will be re-newed. I'm hoping that it will be but, I won't be surprised if it doesn't. If not, we can buy the dvd's, read the books and the fanzines and look forward to the next Star Trek series.

give me a break, enterprise is finished..there will be no feature film of it and all you enterprise fans can really look foreward to is perhaps some comic books featuring the enterprise crew. Heres a strange thought..what if the next generation was to return to tv..think any of us stuffy die hard trekkers would tune in? i dare say so...

Thanks, you also seem to be a dedicated fan of Star Trek. Perhaps (if what you read is even true) that Patrick Stewart couldn't seem to get away from his Star Trek fans and it was "freaking him out". I don't seriously doubt that he would want to hurt any of his fans but, I think that he's not the type of the actor that that seems to be very good around a large group of adoring fans. He seems to be a private person and perhaps seeing all of these adoring fans all of the time is a bit too much for him.
Even though it would be best for Paramount if they put someone who knew a lot about Star Trek and was interested in it in charge, they just can't seem to do that. Star Trek could still be making boo-coo money for them if they had put someone like Manny Coto in charge of main production of Star Trek. Paramount is going to lose a lot of money if they don't get someone like that in charge soon or just let Star Trek die. They don't realize it now but, they will down the road...just wait and see.

I once read that stewart was doing a play and in the front row of the audience there were trek fans wearing trek style uniforms..he was quoted as saying, that when he saw the trek fans..he wanted to hurt them. You seem very dedicated to star trek. or at the heart of trek. I agree about rick berman. and i dont for the life of me understand why paramount keeps putting people in charge of , and steering the franchise, with people who know so little about star trek and why it is great.

I never have met the man but, I believe that he's the type of person that feels uncomfortable around a lot of adoring fans. He seems like a private type of person to me. I like Patrick Stewart and I would love to be able to see him sometime but, knowing how uneasy he is with fans approaching him, I wouldn't try to approach him-I would just go see him speak.
That would have been awesome if there could have been away for him to portray Shinzon the same time that he portrayed Picard in "Nemesis". The story was alright but, it could have been a lot better. I personally don't think that it was as bad as a lot of people on various BBS forums have stated but, that's my opinion. I hope and I pray that Rick Berman is not given the green light to produce the next Star Trek movie. I hope that Manny Coto and Judith & Garfield Reeves- Stevens write the story for the next movie and that Coto also produces the movie and that a director that is familiar with Star Trek is brought in to direct-then the movie would be awesome.

as far as patrick goes, I think he is having a midlife crisis. I believe that he thinks he will never work again. If only patrick would have played the part of his clone in star trek nemesis. we wouldnt see star trek in such tough shape today

I've never met Patrick Stewart before but, I've heard that he feels uncomfortable interacting with Star Trek fans. I'm not sure why he does because we are the ones that made him famous in the first place. "TNG" is what opened a lot of doors for Stewart so that he is now free to take whatever acting job he wants. However, I've met several of the other Star Trek actors and they were all nice, friendly and a lot of fun to talk to. If Stewart does feel uncomfortable having so many fans around him, maybe he shouldn't attend Star Trek conventions.
Unfortunately, every single network hires people to try to get shows on tv that appeal to alot of people. Star Trek hasn't been that appealing to a lot of people (especially casual watchers) since the Dominion War began on Ds9. That's whenever the ratings began to dip and the interest in Star Trek fell continously since then. I'm wondering how "Enterprise" would have fared if it premiered during the "TNG" era....Braga wouldn't have been involved (except perhaps in the writing department) and it might have had the chance to be truely awsome. Oh well...

it seems that the networks are really getting some dorks in there that dont check out what the viewers want and that is their major mistake.i have been a fan of star-trek since i was a kid and have met a few of the actors and they are nice people except for patrick steward that didnt want anyone to talk to him.didnt undrstand that one but hey.maybe no news is good news too.

Unforunately, the only thing that the networks are interested in is making a profit. With Brannon Braga out of the picture (and hopefully Rick Berman too if he isn't given the green light to produce the next Star Trek movie. You know, he may not be too bad with Braga gone. I believe that things started turning bad for Star Trek after Braga was made a producer instead of a writer. But, I think that Berman has screwed up enough that most fans just want him gone from the franchise). Hopefully is people like Manny Coto and the Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens at helm (if possible), the next Star Trek series will be awesome. I had to be the bearer of bad news but, I think that the more time that goes by that that the chances of "Enterprise" being re-newed as getting slimmer as time goes by.
