There should be a Jericho thread here. True, that CBS series got cancelled but so what. To be honest I am glad its gone. Was great Season 1 but It just got silly with the political nonsense of making Kansas look like I-rack.

amen to that...i haven't even seen enterprise, but as you said, this trend goes back to the next generation. star trek had great music, as did numerous shows of the 60s.

Porthos, I'd still kind of like to see unknown actors take over the roles. I also wonder if they'll use the orginal sets or build new ones. I mean the bridge is a sci-fi classic, I'd hate to see them change it too much. Take Care.

Gary Sinese always reminded me of Bones, and Kyle Machlachlan or Charlie Sheen with brown hair would be a good Kirk

You know, I'm southern, and slightly eccentric. How about a slightly younger, slightly heavier, silver haired McCoy? How this? "He's dead, Jim." "That green blooded sob, it's his revenge for all those arguments he lost." Maybe they can even cgi my face to make me less ugly. Take Care.

I've been thinking about who should replace the original Trek cast in a new series and have an idea. Since Kirk is supposed to be from Iowa, the producers should select and unknown actor from Iowa.
Also, they should go south to find the new McCoy, to Scotland for the new Scottie. And get a real Russian as Chekov, a real African for Uhura and so on. As for Spock, the closest thing we actually have to another planet is California, but I believe we can find a few strange characters out there. Take Care.

Affleck as Kirk would be the only thing worse than the Starbuck of GINO.

If they give the role of Capt. Kirk to Ben Affleck I will NEVER watch another Trek movie or series.

Enterprises theme song was gayer than a dozen clones of Jim J Bullock. It was swimming in it's own gay. Even made it's own gay-ravy.

I know someone who is a brilliant guitarist, songwriter etc. who has dedication to music and is absolutely brilliant at creating atmosphere, he used to play with Dave Murray from iron maiden in the kitchen, now years later and after attempting a thousand other things in life wants only to create music. can you help here? Let thereal talent of rock speak and sing to you. Val T.

Man, I can't even remember Space: 1999! I watched it, but I was too little to remember the theme music.

some of the best incidental music ive heard (apart from star trek tos)is from space 1999 series 2.

well to tell you honestly, all of the incidental music in the original series was not silly and was always meant to be there. However on the next generation's the best of both worlds part one when riker says fire to be the only scene I can recall the music being memorable. Thanks

Sorry to keep nagging on BSG but it's totally bugging me lately. What can I say? I need more of a life! To make a case in point for rand: check out the intro music for the classic BSG. It's fantastic. Then listen to the new garbage for the new BSG. Oh, and ENTERPRISE FAN, love your lyrics!
