I really have nothing against the Jedi. However, As a fan of ther Jedi, I felt that there power was not well represented in Movies and that was disappointing. Especailly the attempted arrest on Palpatine. At least in Dukoo vs Obi/Ani rd 2, Dukoo put a cool Sith choke hold on Obi while at the same time kicking Anakin across the room then tossing Obi 30ft away. Now that was a display of power. I would have wanted to see more of that kind of power from the Dark Lord if he was gonna kill 3 out of 4 Jedi Masters. A little sith lightning would have been nice touch, or a powerful force puch, or some more of those choke holds, You know?! just to show what this Sidious guy was made of. At least it would have validated how he killed 3 members of the Jedi council. This could have been the best scene on the whole Star Wars Saga. Lucas could have done betters. He knows how much us Star Wars geeks dig this kinda stuff. We deserved better.

What does that say about the Jedi? That no matter how strong you are chances are someone stronger will come along, maybe? It is possible to make no mistakes and still lose. And Mace might have had Palpatine had Anakin not interfered. Of course Sith training might be more intense than Jedi, so maybe Palpatine was just that tough back in the day. I dont see it as any reason to denigrate the Jedi. No one can possibly be expected to be on top of every situation, and there have been no Sith to tangle with for a millenia. Now you may be asking if Palpatine was so powerful how did he get tossed into the reactor? His pride and ego allowed him to get blindsided. He didnt see Vader as a threat and he was too wrapped up in being a cruel bastard to notice. Had he faced Vader in lightsabre combat that might be another story. But Palpatine had been preparing himself for that day for several decades. He knew there were a lot of Jedi and obviously he was prepared for a multiple confrontaion.

I was laughing through the dialogue and the Yoda fight scene toward the end. My brotherr-in-law swore he wouldn't see another movie with me again.
I'm a Star Wars fan, don't get me wrong, but SW 1, 2, and 3 do onot measure up to any of the Han Solo/ Lando Calrissien adventures. Lucas should have quit while he was ahead.

I know he couldn't wipe out the Jedi order on his own, That wasn't his only agenda in the first place. I'm just saying he killed three Jedi (MASTERS) with three swings, Maul killed Qui Gon (Obi got lucky), Dukoo opened up a can on Bratty Ani & Obi then held his own against Yoda. What does that say about the Jedi. oh yeah and by the way, Sidious took a dive against Mace to complete the Turning of Anakin to Vader. Go Sith

Porthos, Padme's real name is Natalie Hershlag. Portman is just her stage name.

Mace nearly had Palpatine before Anakin finally turned on him. Palpatine is formidible but he could never pull off a direct assault on the entire Jedi Order. Why should he when he can get others to do his dirty work for him. Had he revealed himself and attacked the Jedi directly in Ep1 he could never have engineered his ascent to the Chancellorship. In the end he got exactly what he aimed for, kicking their asses earlier would heve done his goals more harm than good.

Chancellor Palpatine made rather easy work out of the Jedi (MASTERS)when they came to arrest him. He should have just kicked there ass a long time ago.

There was no one in any Star Wars movie, cast or character, named Hershlag. Please quit smoking weed. It doesnt make you clever like you see to think.

I think that Obiwan should just kill Anikan/Darth Vader. Then he should do Pademe and then kill the chancellor because he's a big dick head in this movie.

Anakin confronts Obi-Wan on a volcanic world. Anakin demands that Obi-Wan take him to Padme immediately. Obi-Wan refuses and states that the Jedi Council has told him that Padme is not allowed to see Anakin. Anakin is outraged.
Anakin draws his light-sabre and ignites it. Anakin demands to see Padme again. Obi-Wan refuses and tells Anakin to put down his light sabre. Anakin refuses. Obi-Wan lights his light sabre and then orders his padawan to put down his sabre. Anakin again refuses and strikes at Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan quickly ignites his sabre and blocks Anakin's sabre. Obi-Wan states that this duel is dangerous because they are surrounded by many molten pools of lava. Anakin refuses to end the duel unless he is given access to Padme.
