Yeah, the Force impregnated Anakin's mom... It's a good thing the Force picked a human woman from a place Far, Far, Away, since otherwise the movie title would have been:

No, Watto was not Anakin's father. Anakin actually did not have a father. Remember the Emperor's master, Darth Plegeus? Well Darth Plegeus was trying to create life using the force, before he was killed by the emperor. But he did create life, he created Anakin and that's why he was so powerful.

Watto can't be Anakin's father. Palpatine told us who dunnit! It was either him or his Sith master who was so powerful with the dark side that he knew how to command the midichlorians to create life. Yes, Yoda sensed in him much fear because his papa was the dark side of the force. So now we know. :)

Palpatine made a genetically engineered clone of himself... Anakin. (A bit of genetic material was also taken from Jar Jar and spliced in).
Sort of like Master/Blaster in Mad max series, Anakin was engineered to have a little less brains and a little more brawn as #2 Sith. He would always follow Master, it was programmed into his genes.
In Sith prophesy, the coming one was going to kill his father... Palpatine thought he was safe after Anakin kills Jar Jar after episode 3, and due to genetic manipulations in Anakin. But Anakin/Vader knew he could deal with Palpatine by following a different Master... Luke. "We can rule as Father and Son"

It says in the movie, the book, and from lucas' own mouth that Anakin was conceived of the Force itself. Plain and simple.

All Anakin's traits are recessive, but that goofy offspring Luke had a few of them go dominant. Look at that mug of his compared to Solo.

You people should at least refer to a basic biology course. Well at least to know that one thing is, Anakin has no Toydarian traits. Also Anakin was already born when Watto had him and his mother!

watto is soooooo not anakins father.. i mean watto was the slave owner of anakin and shimi skywalker.. and plus dont oyu think anakin would not just be human if watto had a possibillity of being anakins father..i mean think about it seriously.. and plus..people seem to thing darth plegdeous is anakins father... not saying that s true.. but it is defintly not watto..sorry to burtst you bubble!
