I like my version better Porthos. I think that Han was trying to score some Wookie Weed and bumped into Chewbacca who had the connections. Then he hired chewy as his goon. Just Kidding. All the readers know how they met kid. These chats are just for kicks until they make some new flicks for us true fans.

Han met Chewbaca as a fledgeling Imperial pilot. When he had to transport some Wookie slaves he had an attack of conscience and deserted the Imperial fleet by rescuing the group of wookies and returning them home. Chewie formed a lifetime attatchment debt to Han for resuing his family. In ANH Han's pants were from his Imperial days, the red stripe on them being called a Corellian Bloodstripe or something as a testament to his skill.

They were too high from smoking Kashyyk grass. As Yoda might say "Great Guanja the Wookies have" So that's how Han Solo met Chewy.

The Jedi couldn't see that palpatine was the sith lord because the were to busy looking to the future to find out who the sith lord was. If they had listened to Oui-Gon's teachings about the living force a looked at the moment they might have seen that Palpatine was the one they were looking for.

palpatine is really powerful with the dark side of the force and I read that really powerful siths can cut off the dark presence arond them so others can't sense the darkness with in them.

The Jedi could not sense that Palpatine was evil or was a Sith Lord because the Dark Side was clouding their vision my friend! In every movie you can see that the Dark Side clouds the Jedi' of what they are doing or even if they are still around.

Lucas storytelling was fine. Its just the fans who are incredibly anal and nitpicky. The original trilogy was great but hardly free of plot holes and inconsistencies itself you know. Any prequel plot hole or so called "inconsistency" is easily explained away by anyone able to put 2+2 together. Take off the rose colored glasses about the past it wasnt so perfect either. So-called "Fans" who constantly nitpick at pointless minutae are like vegans who eat steak and eggs for every breakfast. Hypocrites. Lucas is fine, the faults lie within you. how many pop culture phenomenae have YOU created thats lasted 30 years? None? Thats what Ive thought. Fact is the Prequels have made TONS of money so any lack of quality lies in your head. Otherwise so many people wouldnt have gone to see them. Sorry, but any future argument has utterly been invalidated right there. Please hesitatwe to never say anything again. Buh bye.

Poop with flashing lights and a stereo sound track still stinks.
Lucas told a much better story when he was younger. His close association with the 60's era Hollywood wrinkle cream set seems to have pushed him into his dotage.
All three prequels had serious plot holes, the Revenge of the Sith, being the worst. No true fan would or should be satisfied with mediocrity. This is especially true when the first three films were so much better. One would expect a story teller to improve with age. The only thing that made the prequels worth watching was the eye candy.

the sith had been thought to be extinct for a millenium. plenty of time for them to practice hiding their signatures. but yoda got some idea that Palpy was a fink in aotc the way he was looking at him. as for the prequels aucas did a good job. most "innacuracies" are easily explained by anyone who can add 2+2. fact is its his story and he has the right to tell it any way he wants. so-called fans who claim to like Star Wars yet constantly find silly things to harp on the prequels arent really as loyal SW fans as they think they are. fact is the prequels happened. theyre canon. period. and all the whining of the so-called fanboys will never change that. ungratefull prats

Because the Sith have the ability to hide thier presence it is a hard force skill to master, it is of the ancient Sith, a force power usually used by the sith assasins.

1.) I just said that they can cover their force abilities.
2.) Yes the episodes had lots of conflicting points, which was kind of disappointing, but overall I really liked the story (mostly the original trilogy).
As for why Vader didn't know that Leia was his daughter was because he didn't know he had one. He didn't know he had a son either. He assumed that Padme never had the kid.(he didn't know they were twins either).
The part that was confusing was how in the world did Vader find out that Luke was his son? At the end of ANH he only said, "The Force is strong with this one." No indication whatsoever that he knew who Luke was. Then in the beginning of ESB Vader is telling them to find "Skywalker". Is there something I missed?

if you can find any logic in the bad story telling of Lucas then you are a Jedi master. Why didn't Vader know leia was his daughter when he totured her inthe first movie..Hate to tell you people Lucas writes it as he goes , pays no attention to continuity or plots. The epsiodes are so full of errors.lucas would have doen better to find a good writer and let someone else direct it .the story telling is flawed , acting non existent , and fx over the top where there is soo much that the focus is lost .

Actually I think anakins main problem was that he wasn't allowed to have attachments. He was obviously a very emotional persom. He didn't have contact with his mother till she died and he had to hide his relationship with Padme.
When the council didn't make him a master he had already by that time shown tons of signs that he was turning to the dark side.
The stuff about Sidious is really cool.

Darth Sidious has been around for about a thousand years. He's had extensive training in the decepition of others."But there must always be a Darth Traya, one that holds the knowledge of betrayal. Who has been betrayed in their heart, and will betray in turn." — Darth Traya. You see Palpatine was a combinatiion of Darth Nihilus, The Sith Lord of Hunger, Darth Sion, The Sith Lord of Power, and Darth Traya, The Sith Lord of Betrayal. He has the common features of all of them. He was able to cloud the Jedi minds, which in case lead to their demise. And another thing Anakins whole turning to the Dark Side wasn't just that he was suppose to furfill the Sith'ari Propechy, but the Jedi Council never trusted him. Not allowing him to become a Master. They signed their own graves you see. write back if you have any questions.

Extremely powerful sith lords are able to create a kind of blank thing. Typically the jedi could feel if someone was good if they could feel the living force in them. If they were evil they could sense the dark side. Some sith were able to put up something sort of like a wall so that the jedi couldn't sense either.

Why didn't Yoda tell the Jedi Counsel that Qui Gon was able to live within the force, that way the Jedi Order would still survive and be able to train Padawans
