(click here) TV-Commentary - Star Trek Voyager Tom Paris and the Hair Club for Helmsmen If they can cure so many diseases and simple illnesses in the 24th century, why can't they do anything about hairloss? Obvious Captain Picard was an advanced case, but could nothing have been done to treat Tom Paris before he showed advance symptoms? It used to be that a combover did the trick, but over the past few years it's been getting pretty sparse up front. Why can't the Doctor do anything about this? If he can integrate Chakotay's consciousness back into his head, turn Captain Janeway back into a human being after living as a reptile, why can't he replicate some hair for poor Tom?
